With me as your tutor, we will have some laughs and a good time, but we will also work hard to achieve your goals.I earned a bachelor's degree with a double major in Mathematics and Geology at Fort Lewis College, Colorado. After graduation, I worked at the Colorado Geological Survey before I moved to Virginia to begin my studies at Virginia Tech toward a Ph.D. in Geosciences.I like to teach math and science courses because I can show students how these subjects can affect their everyday lives. My students have shown quick improvement in the subjects I tutor. Although I make my students work diligently, I like to keep the sessions light and have a little fun. I offer tutoring in Algebra, Calculus, Differential Equations, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Statistics, Trigonometry, Algebra 2, Earth Science, Environmental Science, AP Calculus AB, Math, and Science.In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, biking, and experimenting in the kitchen.
