ExperienceI am a recent law school graduate looking to tutor students interested in help with the Social Sciences, Humanities, and preparation for the LSAT or ACT. I have just completed a J.D. at the Charleston School of Law and hold a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Virginia Polytechnic and State University. At Charleston, I served on the Resolved Law Review, which analyzed articles on alternative dispute resolution. During my studies, I mentored for Big Brothers Big Sisters and served as a tutor to students across multiple grades. I tutored learners in Grammar, Essay Composition, Economic Studies, and a variety of other areas. I found working as a mentor to be an important experience, because it allowed me to give back to the community and develop my skills as a tutor. Most students are capable of achieving success and turning into well-rounded, highly-educated adults if given the chance. It is important, however, that they be given that chance. As a tutor, I see myself as being a part of that opportunity. It allows me to take the education I was so fortunate to receive and share it with students who may not have the same direct access. In my spare time, I try to be near a lake or beach as much as possible to fish and swim. I also enjoy kicking back with a good book.
HobbiesReading, swimming, fishing, and being on the water.
