I have not forgotten what being a student is like, and this is one of the things that makes me a great tutor. When I am tutoring a student, I link challenging ideas or concepts to something that they already know and understand. By doing that, students are better able to understand the subject and see how it connects with the bigger picture. If I am tutoring a group of students, rather than a one-on-one session, I try to keep each session's material memorable by fostering an atmosphere that is creative, open, and interactive.I am capable of tutoring students in a number of science-related subjects, including anatomy, biology, physiology, biostatistics, biochemistry, life science, pharmacology, and cell biology. I am more than willing to help students prepare for a number of different standardized tests, including the SAT, GRE, MCAT, and PCAT.I am a graduate of Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. I currently live in Midlothian, Virginia. When I am not tutoring, I enjoy reading and spending time with my family.
