Experience
I studied at Rutgers University and Oxford. After completing my education, I held several roles at Western Reserve Academy and St. Catherine's School, including instructor of Philosophy, History, Greek, and Latin. I was also an academic adviser, athletic coach, and housemaster. After eight years, I took a brief leave to care for my parents during a medical crisis and then began substitute teaching at Central Regional Middle School. In this role, I've learned that I really enjoy teaching younger students. In my career, I have consistently received recognition and awards for my ability to inspire and motivate students across disciplines, as well as the relationships I build with students and the many ways in which I engage with and support the school community. This experience, along with my background in History and the Classics, plus my longtime love of literature, history, and language allow me to provide a thoughtful and effective education to today's youth. I am available for tutoring in a variety of subjects, including Writing, Reading, Classical Languages, Grammar, and Latin. On my own time, I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and fishing. And, of course, I am an avid reader.
